Add a frame to your coloring pages

Frame adds a black border around a coloring page and white space outside that border. ColorBliss expands the canvas so the drawing stays the same size. No credits.

You can pick a frame when you generate a page, add one later in Edit, or apply one preset to many library pages at once.

What it does

The black stroke sits fully outside the art. Padding is extra white space outside the stroke, not a gap between the drawing and the border.

Generate and bulk can use a fixed preset, or Match. Match waits until the page exists, then sets thickness from that page's ink. Edit can still change thickness, corners, and padding, or use Match lines. Edit runs in your browser with a live preview. Bulk frame on existing pages runs as a background job on the server with the same presets (no Edit sliders).

When you generate with a frame, ColorBliss saves one framed page. When you add a frame in Edit and click Save to library, ColorBliss writes a new PNG. Bulk frame on library pages writes a new framed copy for each page. The original stays put.

How to use it when you generate

1. Open Create (text or photo) or Bulk generate
2. Pick a frame (None, Match, Thin, Classic, Bold, or Rounded)
3. Generate as usual

A fixed preset applies the same border to every page in that generate or bulk job. Match measures each page after it is generated, so borders can differ across a book. Color by number and mystery mosaic stay unframed.

How to use it in Edit

1. Open any coloring page from your dashboard, folders, or gallery
2. Click Edit
3. Select Frame in the sidebar under Add
4. Pick a preset (Thin, Classic, Bold, or Rounded), or click Match lines to set thickness from the page's line art
5. Fine-tune Thickness, Corners, and Padding with the sliders
6. Click Save to library

If you see Save to folder, you can send the new version straight into a folder instead of your main dashboard.

How to use it on many pages at once

1. Select pages in your dashboard or a folder (checkboxes on each card)
2. Click Frame in the bulk actions bar at the bottom of the screen
3. Pick a preset (Thin, Classic, Bold, Rounded, or Match)
4. Choose a destination folder if you want the copies there, or leave keep in library
5. Click Apply {preset} frame (or Apply {preset} to {folder name})

ColorBliss starts a job and opens Bulk generate so you can track progress. Color by number pages in the selection are skipped automatically. Cap is 100 pages per job. Uses 0 credits.

Track and download a bulk frame job

1. Open Bulk generate from the dashboard menu (ColorBliss may send you here right after you start a job)
2. Find Bulk Frame #… in the job list. Watch the progress bar while it runs
3. When the job completes, download a ZIP of framed PNGs from the job card, or expand the card to preview pages
4. Find the new pages in your library or in the folder you picked. Originals stay unchanged

Where it works

Create (text and photo) and Bulk generate can apply a preset after the page is generated. Select pages in the dashboard or a folder to frame copies of pages you already made. Edit can still add or change a frame later.

Frame does not appear on Color by number pages. The numbered regions and the solution key need a different layout. Mystery mosaic generate also stays unframed.

Frame costs zero credits. Free accounts get it, same as Touch up, Adjustments, and Text overlay.

Common patterns

You want the same border on every page of a coloring book. Pick Classic or Bold on Create or Bulk generate before you run the job. For pages you already made, select them and use Frame in the bulk actions bar. Do not pick Match if every page in the book must share the same border weight. You can still add a frame later in Edit if a page needs a different look.

The preset is close but the line feels too heavy. Drop Thickness, or click Match lines so the border follows the ink on that page.

You only want a white mat with no stroke. Set Thickness to 0 and keep Padding.

What it doesn't do

It does not cover or shrink your line art. The canvas grows by the padding and thickness on each side.

You cannot upload your own frame image.

Pages generated with a cozy decorative border can still get this frame, so you may end up with two borders.

Switch to another edit tool without saving and the unsaved frame disappears. Save first if you want to keep it.

It always saves a new page. Your original doesn't change.

Tips

When you open Frame, ColorBliss usually starts with Match lines so the border thickness follows the ink on that page. If you want a fixed look instead, pick Classic, Bold, or Rounded.

Classic works for most pages when you want a standard border. Bold adds a heavier line and more white space. Rounded softens the corners.

Match lines measures the strokes in your page and uses a similar thickness. Click it again anytime you want to reset thickness to the page's line art.

The preview updates as you move the sliders. Wait for it to catch up before you save.
